TheCaratLounge.com is owned and operated by *The Carat Lounge*, and will be referred to as “We”, “our” and “us” in these terms and conditions. These are the terms and conditions of TheCaratLounge.com. Your use of the TheCaratLounge.com website confirms your agreement with our terms and conditions outlined below, including any other terms and conditions stated herein, and with any applicable laws. These terms are subject to change without notice.

Product Images and Videos
We have done our best to accurately show the colours of the products/diamonds offered on this website. However, because the colour you see is dependent on your computer screen, we cannot guarantee that the colour you see will be completely accurate. The products also may appear larger or smaller than the actual size depending on your screen and your ultimate choice of purchase. Most videos and photographs have been enlarged to show detail and help our users.

Pricing of Products and Services
The Carat Lounge attempts to prevent errors in pricing and product information, but human mistakes can happen. If a mistake does happen, we reserve the right to fix it, and in our sole discretion, to reject or stop any order placed for that item at the incorrect price. All prices listed for users in Singapore are in SGD and inclusive of GST. Prices for countries outside of Singapore may vary depending on the country you are browsing from due to GST being added or not. When displaying the price, it will always indicate if GST is inclusive or exclusive. For all overseas sales, GST (VAT) is not applicable. We will try to make it as clear as possible for overseas customers.

Website’s Stock Availability
TheCaratLounge.com stock is updated automatically when an order is placed. On rare occasions, there may be a diamond that you have selected which may not be available. This may happen due to API errors or website bugs. The Carat Lounge will offer you a stone of the same or better characteristics as the one you originally selected. If no similar stones are available, The Carat Lounge will issue you a full refund.

Payment Details
Once you have selected your diamond and provided your shipping information, you will be directed to fill in your payment details, such as your credit card information or PayPal. When you enter your payment information and place your order, you authorise us and our third-party payment processors to debit the amount of the order to your selected payment method.

Grading Reports and Diamond Certificates
All loose diamonds on our site, unless specified, come with certificates, and when we ship it to you, it will include the diamond certificate or grading report. All grading reports are created by high-tech diamond laboratories and are expensive to replace or re-order. Any diamond that is returned must include the original grading report in good condition. If the grading report is not returned, a replacement fee of up to **\$250 SGD** will be charged. This includes the shipping and insurance costs for returning the diamond to and from the laboratory, as well as the cost of the certificate.

Links to Other Domains
The Carat Lounge makes no statements or warranties about any other sites you may access via our website. If there is a link to another website, such a link does not establish an approval of that site or the products or services contained therein and is provided exclusively for your accessibility.

Governing Law
If a dispute arises between The Carat Lounge and you regarding your use of this site, such dispute shall be resolved according to the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Consumer/Users Communications
Communications including messages you send to us via email, letter, voice mail, or other communications relating to your use of this site shall be and remain the property of The Carat Lounge, and we shall not be restricted in any way in our use of such communications for commercial, promotional, or other purposes. However, The Carat Lounge will not use your full name in any promotional use without your authorization. You therefore agree that your communications will not violate any third-party rights or include unlawful content. The Carat Lounge may store some communications for marketing or promotional purposes, but is not obligated to keep all records.

Exchange and return rights for products are governed by separate terms stated elsewhere on the site and by applicable law. Website operations may be managed by a third-party provider.

CHANGES ON CURRENT ORDERS

To process changes to orders that are already in the manufacturing process, the following conditions apply:

  1. Manufacturing is at a stage where the order can be stopped (or has not started).
  2. Payment for the ring was made in full at the time of purchase.
